This Data Deletion Policy outlines clearly how you can request the permanent deletion of your account configurations, personal information, analytical history databases, and brand intelligence tracking variables.

2How to Request Data Deletion

We offer three direct avenues to request the permanent deletion of your account and associated analytical database listings:

Send a message to our trust officers at support@augur.bot using your registered corporate email.

Dashboard Settings

Access the Account Settings panel in your active Augur dashboard and trigger the "Delete Account" action.

Contact Form

Submit an account deletion inquiry directly through our website's secure Contact form.

3What We Delete

When an account deletion request is processed, Augur permanently purges all associated workspace metrics and configurations. This includes:

  • Account Profile & Credentials: Registered names, administrative emails, encrypted hashed password keys, and corporate identifiers.
  • Connected Social Channels: All active API synchronization tokens, session keys, and channel records linking back to your official Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter/X profiles.
  • Custom Workspace Settings: Monitored brand lists, tracking profile folders, competitor list records, and customized stance prediction variables.
  • Alert Logs & Histograms: Recorded sentiment spikes, custom threshold warning webhooks, and history tracking notifications.
  • Auth Tokens: Secure permissions, authorization tokens, and administrative session logs.

4Our Deletion Process

We deploy a structured protocol to guarantee security and completeness during data deletion:

Confirmation Email (Within 24 Hours)

Upon receiving your request via email or dashboard settings, we automatically dispatch an acknowledgement confirmation email.

Identity Verification

We conduct secure email or token-based verification checks to prevent malicious purges of valuable enterprise workspaces.

Immediate Pipeline Purge

Once verified, our script triggers database queries that disconnect active token connections and mark account parameters for immediate deletion.

Final Deletion & Confirmation (Within 7 Working Days)

Data is permanently expunged across active production servers. You receive a final email confirming complete deletion.

5Data Retention and Limitations

Please review the following edge cases and operational retention limits:

  • Backup Cycles: To protect platform integrity against system outages, database records are maintained in highly secure, isolated backups for up to 30 days before being fully overwritten.
  • Collaborative Data: Brand sentiment comments, workspace annotations, or exported PDFs shared directly with team members in unified workspaces may remain visible as part of their dashboards.
  • Regulatory Auditing: Billing logs, transaction histories, and legal compliance logs will be retained for up to the required legal limit to meet corporate financial and taxation guidelines.

6Additional Information

Permanence: Data deletion is permanent. Once completed, your sentiment history models, stance detection tracking databases, and dashboard configurations cannot be restored.

API Disconnections: Connected social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter/X) will have all sync authorization tokens instantly revoked. You may need to separately review and delete Augur permissions from your platform-specific social application settings pages to clean local cookies.
